TANMCGEE
Hello Elaine, I was so amazed to see that you found the same person I am looking for. Max and my dad came to this contry together from Nigeria and my dad is visiting so I would like to get in touch with him so they can reconnect. Can you please forward his details to me. Thanks Elaine and if you need more information please do not hesitate to ask. Tania
Stan Tamudo
It's off topic but can anyone remember the name of the Nightclub that was on Carver Street? I walked down there today and I'm sure there was a club called Sinatra's at the bottom near the junction with Division Street.
jomarch
Yes, I remember this place. I think it was a cocktail bar and I'm pretty sure it was owned by Max Omare. The first time I ever had a cocktail was in this place in the early eighties I guess- don't think it stayed open long.

stpetre
Was that before or after Dave Allen ? I don't recall Max Omare having Napoleons either, as it was part of Dave Allen's 'little empire' (Josephines etc). However Max did have the place that preceded it 'Shades', that was underneath the former Greystones Cinema.
