MrsBrown Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 I found my mums dad on genes re-united,sadly he was killed in ww2 age 34 but she has several siblings,she was my grans only child,mum was gobsmacked especially when she saw photos of her dad she had never seen or met.Its quite a bit to take in after 60 odd years.Glad i did it though, it was quite touching. I`m supposed to be meeting him here after not seeing him for years." I had to dissapoint her , although afterwards I thought maybe I should have let her jump all over me and kiss me first! Trouble is,he is Belgian and only speaks pigeon English,and my French is even worse. He had no idea that he had two sisters and a brother,and was over the moon,as were his five children,we all chat online all the time.
