Don't know where you got this price from but if you lose the keys for a Fiat Punto they have to change the computerised management for the imobiliser system, costs a fortune. All the data relating to the cars security system is stored on one of the three keys that come with the car when new. Also not as simple as just getting the car door open to tow it to a garage, what about the steering lock having to be removed so that the car can be steered when being towed.
