William Hague's special advisor resigns

Recommended Posts

I've just seen a picture on the BBC news and it made Will Hague look a bit gay.

'tis the BBC mind, so you wouldn't expect it to be anything other than anti tory.

More paranoid nonsense from a self pitying Tory.

The rumours surrounding William Hague started on Guido Fawkes website - swivel eyed rightwing nuttery at its worst

Fine. I acknowledged that WH looked a little gay in the photo. I didn't say the BBC created the story. I said they were biased. The BBC is so left wing in its slant on everything, it is an embarrassment to impartiality.

Get it right.

Two men share a twin room as someone else is paying the tab (in this case the tory party)? That's a story?

Try telling any employer that you won't share a twin room with a bloke on business and you'll be offered the alternative of paying for your own room, and the single supplements you'll both be charged.

NeuArbeit sorts would have doubtless booked a suite each but we're not talking about the people who got us into this mess but the people who will get us out. So the fact that they act like the rest of the working population gets them smeared as gays by the leftists who've been ******* our money up the wall for 13 years, no surprise there then.

Only problem is most of the time thy had separate rooms. So it was not about saving money.

Also the reason people are interested is he pays this guy £30k a year as a special adviser - allegedlly he is not particularly qualified for the job and Hague already has two advisers - the maximum allowed.

The only reason people like you think the BBC is biased is because it is not as swivel eyed as other media outlets like SKY, The Mail (which also ran with this story).

That WH 'looked a little gay' in the photo is not the issue, and you know it. Face upto the fact that Hague has been smeared by a right wing nut job. The BBC did nothing more than report the incident.

You get it right.

In the phone in with Nicky Campbell on radio 5-live, this morning, they were discussing whether WH was right to "confess", or whether he should have stayed silent. As far as I was concerned, he did not "confess" anything. They could have described him as being candid, or something similar. By using the word "confess", I think they were actively trying to imply he was doing something wrong.

These are just more 'facts' that the media will make you believe.

A 'special advisor' is not a particularly high-powered role and has various levels - CM was on the lowest of these. If the media cared to survey all of the rest of the SpAds I'm sure they will find many less qualified than he is.

Ministers are allowed more than two of these advisors.

I did get it right - the BBC is very left wing in its reporting and editorial content. . . . along with the mirror, the grauniad, socialist worker, the voice , bbc1 bbc2, bbc news, radio 1 2 4 5 etc . He appears to have been smeared by a right of centre website I accept, but that does not make the BBC anything other than left wing.

it is insidious the way they imply things, you are quite correct. The BBC as a state funded organisation should be impartial the other organs should be able to be left or right leaning as they see fit.
