sh3fflass Posted September 5, 2010 Share Posted September 5, 2010 hi lm wondering if anyone knows any cheap ways to get to stansted airport as l do not drive tried a few train sites but its coming back expensive because theres 4 adults 6 kids and 1 infant wondering if theres any cheaper alternative ways like a train into london central then from there to stansted never been before so if someone could give any useful suggestions or advice dont bother posting if its gunna b sumfin sarcastic or nasty though!!!! thanks l also didnt know where to post this so l apologise if this is in the wrong section Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There's no way it could take less than 6 hours and will usually take more than that. It's a no-brainer to take a taxi for that amount of people - shop around. Ely is also a nice place to change, just have to cross the platform. Do you have a family railcard? One would probably pay for itself on this journey.
