Creaking Citroen C3

3 weeks ago, I brought a second hand C3 and it has stated creaking particularly when Im turning right.

 

Has anyone had this before? Ive only got a month left on my warrenty so would appricate some advice.

Can you gives us a little more detail as it may help to diagnose the problem?

 

Does it creak all the time....or only when hitting bumps......in a straight line.....or only whilst turning?

 

Trying to get to bottom of if it's suspension or steering you've got problems with.

Its particularly worse when I am turning right and it is worse when it is starting from cold.

 

I haven't noticed it going over bumps, and I have a lot of speed bumps on the way to work.

Difficult one that one without listening to the noise. Reason I asked if was more of a ticking (but you say more of a creaking so not) is that lots of past smaller citroens have suffered with cv joint issues.....ticking on either left or right hand lock is a symptom.....Ax's and saxos are prone to failure.

 

However, if it's a creak it could possibly be either suspension / steering related or a noisy power steering rack.

 

I'd take it in and get it looked at as it sounds difficult to diagnose on a forum.
