Yeah!, like the kettle's just gone on at the station or it's a colleagues birthday and he's just turned up at work with a box full of cakes and buns. They are at least human and can tell the difference between a car driven quickly and safely and one that is driven quickly and dangerously. blanco Posted September 6, 2010 Share Posted September 6, 2010 Could it be you were doing 48 mph on your speedo, which is more like 43 / 44 mph and the police car with its calibrated speedo was doing 50mph, which on your speedo would have appeared to be 55mph, ie they over took you at +7 mph which looks fairly substantial but all was above board.
