ipwn
I want a to convert a bucket seat to an office chair. Now I have an old office chair that I could use the base its just a standard one. But I'm not really sure how to go about attaching this to the base of the chair. Not too sure who to ask for this type of work. Here are some pics for an idea http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/7706/seaty.jpg http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/2329/seatbase1002.jpg http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/4682/seatbase1003.jpg Recommendations for someone who could do this would be great ! hard2miss
Your going to have to cut out some3 quarter ply or something in the seat area, maybe even the same for under it to so that you can bolt it to the swivel office chair base. It should not be too hard to do, looks a good idea. Post some pics when its been done, bet its great finished.
ipwn
I was thinking of using those side holes to get 2 metal pieces going across the botom of the chair. Then using those bars to weld a metal square to the bottom thats attached to the 2 bars going across and then bolt on the base.. Hmmm.
selphie
My uncle has one of these. Not sure why or how he did it. I just spied it in his garage last time I was there!!

selphie
Does he want to sell it ? I don't think so. As far as I could see, without looking like a weirdo, he's just attached the bucket seat to some wheels from an office chair. I would imagine he's attached a metal plate to the wheels then attached the seat to that.
