Berberis
Page 1, for goodness sake! What a time waster! A link to nationalist socialist black metal, which without any direct links to racist lyrics or comments by band members is about as useful as a list of WI members on this subject. Try again. For the record I have not said Black Metal is not racist, I just find people like you who make these claims without the maturity of backing them up with evidence rather pointless. Still no compatible Black Metal band to modern day Hip-Hop acts that use racist terminology.
boyfriday
Shims you're being a pleb, but that's common knowledge so I don't need to provide any evidence. Well it's news to me, perhaps the purveyor of such knowledge is reflecting on their own inadequacies?
Berberis
Well it's news to me, perhaps the purveyor of such knowledge is reflecting on their own inadequacies? Case and point, but also made in jest to highlight the fact common knowledge is not universal.
shims
Shims you're being a pleb Haha, first insult! Do your worst. I'll not be so disingenuous as to suggest that you're trying to get the thread locked, although it would be convenient for you .. Shims you're being a pleb, but that's common knowledge so I don't need to provide any evidence. Why? Because YOU are trying to obfuscate things by moving onto sexism?!!! And I thought you believed in responsibility! Your logic seems to be if its hiphop it’s OK, if its anyone else, it’s not. That's illogical. My bold. Certainly is ... and it's not what I believe. You're more concerned with pointing the finger then addressing the issue. Why is that? How do we address the issue? By your method? (Accepting that hiphop is racist whilst ignoring deeply racist white music and the casual racism of mainstream white artists). Fool yourself not, you ain't addressing jack. On the sexism comment, the racist undertones of some hip-hop goes hand in hand with sexist commentary. If anything, sexist comments are more prevalent than racist, therefore with your logic, I made the connection, that those who listen to sexist hip-hop are indeed sexists themselves. Why do you not wish to discuss this aspect? Do you listen to sexist hip-hop by any chance? My bold. Because that's a different issue and you're purposely trying to drag this thread off-topic and I'm sure I'm not the only one who realises why. shims
A link to nationalist socialist black metal, which without any direct links to racist lyrics or comments by band members is about as useful as a list of WI members on this subject. Do you know what National Socialist means? And it's shortened form? For the record I have not said Black Metal is not racist You've been badgering those who have provided the information, whilst refusing to do any your own research. I just find people like you who make these claims without the maturity of backing them up with evidence rather pointless. I didn't bring up the subject of Black Metal. Read the thread (x100). I referred to some things as common knowledge. Another poster then mentioned one of these matters. You were aware of it already. You are playing games. Still no compatible Black Metal band to modern day Hip-Hop acts that use racist terminology. Lies, damned lies. They have been mentioned. Please direct us some modern day hiphop lyrics that make racist statements! I'll say for the third time there are no hiphop acts whose raison d'etre is spreading race hatred, the same is not true of certain white rock bands. JayZ "damn I gotta brag, or these crackers gonna think that I ain't on their ass." Ice Cube - "cause I kill more CRACKAS then Bosnia" I'll await your apology. shims
I'll await your apology. Which would be for what exactly? 50 Cent - "Quick these crackers will give my black ass a hundred years" - This is from seven years ago. The track is full of references to 'niggaz' and other offensive terms. Cam'ron - "I'll be damned if I work for some white cracker." - This is from eight years ago and a (deliberately?) incomplete quotation to take it out of context. JayZ - "damn I gotta brag, or these crackers gonna think that I ain't on their ass." - Only reference to this I could find is on a neo-Nazi site, which is rather strange. If it's a Jay-Z tracks the lyrics should be all over the web. Ice Cube - "cause I kill more CRACKAS then Bosnia" - genuine lyric but contains a typo and linked by the same neo-Nazi site as above - and it's sixteen years old. You've claimed that you only want to deal with what's contemporary. ^^ You've just regurgitated all this from the first link which I addressed ages ago. We've read all that already and any of it could be construed as racially prejudiced. Find your own examples and make sure they're recent since you seem to like dismissing stuff merely on the grounds that it isn't!

shims
Aaah yes, those bands cd's are in HMV and available for download on I tunes all the time Your sarcasm isn't far from the truth. What is probably the biggest online retailer stocks some of this stuff and HMV were selling it a couple of years ago.
