Racist rap or hiphop

Recommended Posts

Which would be for what exactly?

You asked for "modern day hiphop lyrics that make racist statements" and I listed some which you now disregard. Some are old, but I don’t actually know the release dates of the albums these songs were part of. You seem to be the connoisseur; maybe this is why you are such a verdant defender of your favoured music.

Let’s deal with this first:

50 Cent - "Quick these crackers will give my black ass a hundred years" - This is from seven years ago.

Seven years is not that long and 50 cent as an artist is still just as popular and still recording. This is in stark contrast to the list of racist metal bands being used as a comparison considering all of those have since spilt up and where last active more then 15 or so years ago.

The track is full of references to 'niggaz' and other offensive terms.

What does that change? If the artist uses one racial insult but later uses another aimed at a completely different group, do they somehow cancel each other out? Don't be a fool.

Cam'ron - "I'll be damned if I work for some white cracker." - This is from eight years ago and a (deliberately?) incomplete quotation to take it out of context.

Nothing deliberate at all, you are trying to attack me yet again. May I suggest you give reason to why you consider this lyric to be out of context before making accusations?

JayZ - "damn I gotta brag, or these crackers gonna think that I ain't on their ass." - Only reference to this I could find is on a neo-Nazi site, which is rather strange. If it's a Jay-Z tracks the lyrics should be all over the web.

Odd, you are an advocate of searching the web but appear incapable of following your own advice: Another reference: http://slumz.boxden.com/f87/50-cent-says-cracker-song-504363

Chuck D, Ice Cube, Dr Dre, Warren G...there are others but those guys made the genre.

ahahahahahahahahaha this threads becoming so funny, with idiots trying to show they know various music genres histories and come away knowing ****

rap goes back a lot lot lot further than the guys you listed, even if they are good.

how about kool herc, afrika baambaata, grandmaster flash, the sugarhill gang for 4

what about the proto rap bands from the mid to late 70s?

Yes, I ingored that bit Mel. Warren G? Hip hop architect? Hardy-har-har. What about Gil Scott-Heron? Last Poets? Watts Prophets? Not having a clue seems to be no deterrent to some people.

Aaah yes, those bands cd's are in HMV and available for download on I tunes all the time :hihi:

why do some people seem to sympathise with certain types of people no matter what?

i HAVE NEVER said they were available in places like Hmv or get in the charts, those things mean sod all anyway (REAL music fans search out the underground) those black metal bands are quite big in underground circles actually, with white power distros and tape traders etc.

same with rap........i dont think ive heard of any real racist rap artists being sold in massive quantiies either, theyre more on the underground.

the rap being mentioned in this thread from well know, big artists IS NOT RACIST in 99.9% of the time, even with all the N words being thrown around

by the way has anybody heard that old eminem demo (the racist tape i think its called) think i still have it somewhere

Do you know what National Socialist means? And it's shortened form?

You've been badgering those who have provided the information, whilst refusing to do any your own research. :suspect:

I didn't bring up the subject of Black Metal. Read the thread (x100). I referred to some things as common knowledge. Another poster then mentioned one of these matters. You were aware of it already. You are playing games.

Lies, damned lies. They have been mentioned. Please direct us some modern day hiphop lyrics that make racist statements! I'll say for the third time there are no hiphop acts whose raison d'etre is spreading race hatred, the same is not true of certain white rock bands.

exactly all serepis does is change the subject and play games

i honestly mention something

he says he doesnt believe it

i post "proof" to help him gain knowledge ont he subject

he poopoos it and demands more more more proof

if he wanted he could google himself and find EVERYTHING he needs, its all out there.

you can even download all the bands music if you know where to look, not just lyrics

but

he doesnt really want to gain knowledge, he just wants to poopoo the opposition
