Looking for a local comedian

Hi all,

 

I'm currently trying to find a local comedian to do a half hour spot at a charity variety night we are hosting. The night in question is 12th November and it is to be held at The Carlton Park Hotel in Rotherham. Any suggestions or contacts would be greatly appreciated.

Is this a paid gig or are you expecting someone to donate their time? A friend of mine is an established comedienne but she doesn't work for free.
