Suffragette1
Within his own country maybe but people in America paid silly money to listen to Blair, he was a contender for European president and he was a Middle East envoy, perhaps they all got it wrong and Blair was just an “actor” Well of course they love him in America, he was a strong ally of their former president. Furthermore, America often embraces controversial figures or those who have fallen from grace in the UK, such as Fergie, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor et al (I'm sure that there are plenty more, just can't think of any more right now). Grandad.Malky
Only the silly Americans paid silly money to listen to Blair!....... :hihi: And a few others. Blair's A Journey sold 92,060 copies in its first four days on sale last week, according to Nielsen BookScan – the best ever opening week sale for an autobiography since the book sales monitor's records began, in 1998, and well ahead of Mandelson's The Third Man's performance, which sold 14,960 copies in three days when it was published in July. artisan
Now he's a Roman Catholic he doesn't have to worry about his conscience...that can easily be fixed in the confessional. No it cant, do a bit of study on RC and you will see. The only things a confession can forgive are things like not saying your prayers. All sins must be atoned for, in the end. BritPat
how about ulster? balkans? sierra ieone? as well as iraq and afganistan? Ulster was a long term project well under way long before Bliar came on the scene. MI6 Back channels were in place in the 70's. The Balkans ? The Serbs were forced to cede territory to albanian terrorists way to go Tone ! Sierra Leone - Recolonisation by another name. Iraq starved and blown to bits for and on behalf of Israel. Afghanistan - If that's conflict resolution then Sidney Cook is baby sitter of the decade !!! Britain is recolonising Sierra Leone in an attempt to get its hands on the country's diamonds
