Greengeek
Apparently the person who owns it has very hot security, as people from 28DL have tried to explore it, and are collared pretty quickly.
MZ2832
It's amazing isn't it? The flagship hotel in Sheffield closed and empty, whilst new hotels seem to be being built all over the city. I'd be interested to know what the ownership position is and whether any plans have been submitted, it has to be a very valuable piece of estate and I cant see the local residents objecting if the site were used for residential purposes. Believe the owners did put in for planning permission some years ago to create residential housing but they were rejected. I guess they are content for it to become an eye-sore so that the Council will compromise.
CaptChris
My cousin was the Head Chef there - I think from the 1960s through to early 1980s.
