BMW 320d Y reg, Exhaust Issue

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a problem with the exhaust, just thought I'd put it in here and get some valuable advice. It gives a funny noise when I'm backing the car and I can actually smell the emissions inside the car as well. The strange thing is, It passed the MOT so I can only assume that the CAT is working fine.

Took it to a garage and the guy basically said there's a crack after the cat (near bend) and needs replacing. Just wondering if anyone can fix it by welding the part as BMW exhausts are very dear :( ? If it can't be fixed where's the cheapest place to get it replaced?

Thanks

Try these guys=http://www.exhaustsuk.co.uk/frames.html

They are in Attercliffe near the arena and they will fabricate you a piece to replace the bit that is cracked on your exhaust. I have used them many times and it is better than getting it welded up.
