Name of the nightclub on Bank Street in the 70's ?

Thanks guys for jogging my memory......remember now, when it was the Cavendish in the early 70's there use to be go-go dancers in cages suspended from the roof near to the dancefloor. then the name changed to Romeo and Juliets - that was around the time Saturday night fever was on the go..... use to love dancing to Night Fever and Disco Inferno.

When it changed its name again to Cairo Jax the atmosphere of the nightclub seem to change with it, and I didnt bother going in again - went to the Top Rank on Saturday nights instead.......just out of curiousity - anyone remember a song they use to play there which you use to do a rather energetic dance to ( people in a line ) the name of the song: Wooley Bully by Sam Sham and the pharoahs ?

I met one of the go-go dancers that used to dance in these cages a few years ago and what a great lass. We were talking about the pink boots and hot pants she used to wear. She said she was 59now and she was still gorgeous, called her Anne.

There was a casino there as well.

Was there? was that the two different floors that were in there? (as per when it was Romeos and Juliets, 2 different "rooms" playing different music.)

I remember the casino near the fiesta, (Erm...? Bonapartes?) and the Grosvenor, underneath the Ice Skating Rink at Queens Road. Oh, and Napoleons up near Banner Cross.
