Tony
Awwwwww poor old Tony, thought you'd be in Blackpool with the Lib Dems. I know of somebody with a spare ticket if you didn't get one, he lives in the S6 area. Why on earth do you think I'd be at the Lib Dem Party conference? espadrille
I imagine a lot of the people who you represent are claiming some sort of benefits and are about to lose these benefits. Are you not fighting against Tory cuts on their behalf? I think that you may have the wrong idea. I dont represent anyone.Only myself.
wednesday1
Why on earth do you think I'd be at the Lib Dem Party conference? Bloody hell they're all bailing out - saving yourself for the main event in Birmingham then?
Tony
You are making a common mistake that you party political types always do by assuming that "if you're not with us you must to be against us". I have no party affiliations and neither do most people who have opinions on you lot. You assume. You think that you're correct therefore anyone who doesn't agree must be wrong and on the other side. In short, you don't listen. That's what the last government got wrong and it looks like Labour are repeating the same mistake because they smell a bit of dischord on the coalition. My grandfather had a great piece of advice that most politicians would do well to follow... shut up and give your arse a chance. Don't assume you know. Listen. Properly. sccsux
Back to the topic in hand... Sheffield Lib Dem councillor defects to Labour on eve of party conference I'm pretty certain we'll be seeing more defections (from either/both sides) between now and March. Might end up with a May (re)election, and the result could be "interesting" - especially now that most people realise it was the (rich, conservative) bankers who truly took us to the brink of bankrupcy, rather than the LieBore party.
