evilman Posted September 17, 2010 Share Posted September 17, 2010 our flat got burgled on Tue. night, scumbags took 2 laptops & loads of my partner's jewelleries worth more than £4000, reported to the police straightaway, then reported to direct line the next morning, who appointed UK Assistance to come and look at the claim. Just spoke UK Assistance said they haven't got someone to cover the area, so they've appointed another company called Crawford (not sure if this is the right spelling) 0870 3820340 to deal with this claim, who will be in touch tomorrow. has anyone dealt with this company (Crawford) before? how long does it usually take for direct line to settle the claim? we've kept most of the receipts, and some pictures showing she's worn them. what else do i need to prepared? thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
