Defoe
I think I detect the classic 'It's got to be somebody elses fault' defence! You may perceive it any way you wish. All perceptions of the truth are the detection of an analogy.
Defoe
Nah,sorry, more to life than house prices. Try telling that to the homeless families who live rough in Sheffield!
truman
Try telling that to the homeless families who live rough in Sheffield! The council have a duty to house them....do you think that the council houses that were bought would somehow now be available to these people? What would have happened to the people who bought them if they hadn't had that opportunity?

fake
House prices have risen in real terms by 400% since 1960. This one fact is evidence enough. And wages have risen even more, or don't you take that into account? Young people today could easily save plenty if they didn't pay out for all those luxuries they don't need. Quote "Try telling that to the homeless families who live rough in Sheffield!" Do you have any statistics on that as I would like to know just how many families are living rough. truman
Of course they would! How,surely the people that were living there would still be renting them if they hadn't bought them? so the house would still be occupied and not available for rent..?
