I know what you mean, I've suffered pangs of guilt because I feel I haven't been in as much as I should. However, if Patricia and I went in every day at opening time and drank vintage champagne until closing time we'd probably end up with Korsakov's, scirrhosis, bankruptcy and unemployment. And the Robin Hood would still have closed down! If we had managed to keep it afloat in this way, maybe another one of our favourite pubs would have gone instead. It's a grim situation all round.
