Are you serious? Either you are too lazy to do any research or you just want other people to do the hard work for you!

 

There are LOADS of pictures on picture sheffield and there also exists old cine film on youtube driving from the bottom end of London rd (town end) Right the way up to the old abbydale picture house, looks like from the mid 1920's

for the life of me i can't find that cine film on there

Neither can I - spent an whole afternoon looking for it and did the job thoroughly but, no luck.

Years ago 1950/60s we used to go in the Albion pub on London road, the gents toilets were out back across a cobbled stone yard.

I was told some years later that todays entrance was originally the back door and the cobbled yard was all that was left of the old London road...

Does any one know if it's still there.?
