Cynic
If you are accused of this I believe the advice is that you should reply to the letter denying the claim. If you do this can you charge them for your time and any costs?
sccsux
Any ideas what i should do:( Tell them to take you to court as an individual where you'll contest their flimsy evidence and show them up:thumbsup:.
sccsux
If you do this can you charge them for your time and any costs? Possibly, but only if the case goes to court (which these parasites don't like doing).

L00b
Does the letter refer to trade marks at all?
walkertelecoms
I'm surprised they're still at it, especially with the huge bill they're about to be faced with, effectively shutting them down. It's pathetic, they aren't practising what they preach by insisting we're all responsible for our internet security regardless of technical knowledge, they then follow this up by having all their internal affairs splattered all over the NET. I haven't read through this entire thread so apologies for repeats.
Eck!
Theyre still at it. I finally received my letter today, quite a long time after I already knew about it from the plusnet leak! The asking price has gone down to £295 though. I particularly love this bit: Its a bit like going into a pub and, when the barman is not looking, leaning over the bar, grabbing a few bottles of beer, and handing them out to your mates. Ive included the several misplaced commas verbatim because I think it adds to the childlike charm.
