handypandy
Same story.... My son (30 this year) just gone up £500. Also my son in law has just had a letter from his insurance company saying that he no longer falls into their criteria and wont be offering him renewal this year. He's 25 yrs old and no claims....cheapest he's been quoted is £600 more than he paid last year. Seems like a cartel to me.
Classic Rock
Mine stayed pretty much the same this year. I shopped around but nobody could beat my renewal quote. I then got onto my insurers and said I'd had a lower quote but preferred to stay with them and they chopped a few quid more off, taking it to the same as before. Then again, I'm a low risk driver with about 15 years no claims.
mj.scuba
Having the same problem Kimba. Been driving for 12 years with no incidents other than one SP40. Insurance due in a couple of day, shot up from about £350 to £580. They can bog off.
