pinkdolphin3
Mine was my dad sitting me on a sledge at the age of about 3 and shoving me down the hill. Then id fall off and hed do it again i used to think he enjoyed it more than me!! Im too young to remember the baths but my dad and his brothers (Wayne, Dale and Craig Salvin) always tells me how good they were. Hi i know your uncles went to school with Dale...had a lot of fun in the park with them...they used to live on Elm lane if i'm right...

cainedkaty
For some rason I think I remember sometime in the late 80's the pool being used for canoes. Dunno if I am remembering correctly, it could have been somewhere else but I used to spend a lot of time in that park as I lived on southey hall road. I have also seen the memorial stone but don't remember the wording.
