Are the Government using anti-terrorist laws to silence "Truth Seekers "?

Recommended Posts

Could it also enable them to remove or force a public forum to remove comments, threads and links that could support terrorists ?,or in other words expose the Government for what they are.(corrupt as hell)

How is supporting terrorism exposing the government as corrupt?

How is supporting terrorism exposing the government as corrupt?

Agreed ,but that seems to be the road they are going down.

Quote from BBC article

Other theories highlighted were that "freemasons control the world economy through manipulation of paper currency", that the UK government is "consciously seeking to destroy Islam" and that a "conspiracy between the Japanese government, the US, and the Jews existed to gain world domination".

The study claims such theories are frequently adopted by extremist groups to demonise outsiders, discredit moderates and push them in a more extreme and sometimes violent direction.

Ok,sorry, i meant ,what they see as supporting terrorism.for instance that could be someone like myself expressing an opinion,on 9/11 etc and providing links to back up what i say.It counteracts their own propaganda tactics,so could it be seen as supporting terrorism ?

The think tank proposals mentioned in the BBC article don't propose shutting down websites that carry these messages but using reasoned argument, more transparent government processes and education to counter them.

Neither does the prison planet article. None of those "theories" infringe copyright etc because there is no evidence to support them.

If a government really wanted to oppress people the first it would have picked on were those who exposed the reasons for invading Iraq as a sham, the people who exposed MP's expenses etc.

Expressing opinions on SF will be way below their radar - it isn't that important or influential.

Ok,i'm being a bit coy because i don't want another thread deleting, but i wonder if the '7/7 truth and lies' thread was deleted in connection to such laws.I suppose i'm reading between the lines on those links,as much as what they actually say.

The truth would be far more damaging to their agenda than say the expenses scandal,if justice had been served on those robbing MPs then i might have more faith.I believe it was a con to make us believe corruption will be reported if exposed,to fool the likes of you and give you an argument.

There seems to be a big gap between what the law says, and what you think it says.

Yes i'm reading between the lines somewhat.

It's not the first politically sensitive thread iv'e had deleted.(the others went within minutes of posting)

Is there no such thing as free speech anymore ?if so fine but let's have some honesty.

Why are they a danger if what they say is so easily debunked :hihi:

All they have to do is have an open honest debate on the issues.

Truth Seekers already have their own very special laws that nobody else knows about.
