I don't agree with you and that somehow makes me disrespectful? Hardly! You are not informing us, you are whinging and making a song and dance. If you feel so passionate about this subject, get organised. Go to the grave, clean it... petition the council...... etc etc etc.

Agent Orange
james firths grave http://www.chrishobbs.com/jamesfirth1901.htm reasonable condition living relitives Therein lies the clue. Burngreave cemetery is still a working cemetery so the grave is bound to be in reasonable condition.

Go to the grave, clean it... petition the council...... etc etc etc. the grave needs moving not cleaning. the grave next to it has been dug into. to clean it in my opinion will get it noticed and it could be mistreated. money was there to sort this its been given away, i am asking why. its the worst vc grave in the uk that i can find, a civic disgrace. its disgusting that the trustees have allowed this to happen. why did they allow it? sarasen92
http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/Shame-of-39forgotten39-city-war.6387821.jp saw this a while ago, thought it was awful. as the regiment was disbanded i thought it was down to lack of money. then came across this end of last week. http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/TA-donation-will-help-community.6560317.jp the very fund to provide the cash was available the whole time. seems the sun has gone down for way to long on this soldiers grave. WE WILL REMEMBER THEM? my thread is about how those entrusted with the 84th york and lancs funds have ignored the situation.
