HarrietStar
At least they are making the most of their democratic rights and expressing an interest in something. Good luck to them!

We all got suspended

Rupert_Baehr
At least they are making the most of their democratic rights and expressing an interest in something. Good luck to them! 'Democratic rights'? Where does it say that children (or workers, for that matter) have the right to cause trouble because they can't have their lunch break when they feel like it? Many shops are open during the lunch hour. Most shop workers do eat lunch (or at least take a lunch break.) Would you think it reasonable if the shop was forced to close for an hour so that all the workers could have their lunch break at the same time? Noob
Good example of be naughty and get what you like. No wonder there is no respect in schools. Maybe they should just learn to do as they are told rather than thinking as pupils they can run the school. How schools have changed over the years. I thought the headmaster made the decisions. Obviously not.
boyfriday
Good example of be naughty and get what you like. It's actually a good example of quite the opposite, there's no suggestion that they got what they wanted, in fact the headteacher said the group had a subsequently apologised to him and 2 pupils were arrested and excluded. Clearly, though, it was their belief that it would get them what they wanted. Thankfully it did not.
