jaffa1
Does anyone remember the Strada Coffee bar on Ecclesall Road ? In the late sixties it was full of " Teds " . I remember one , I just wish I could remember his name, but he always reminds me of the lead singer in Mud , Les Gray. I loved his crimson suit. Bandit12
Does anyone remember the strada coffee bar in the early sixties on Ecclesall road,my mate and me would go there on our motorbikes, then bike up to the Fleur De Lys at Totley and listen to the juke box.We would then bike round the peak district late at night, all to the annoyance of our parents. The good all sixties. Bandit12
I have not been up Ecclesall road for a few years, the coffee bar was on the left hand side above Stones brewery and opposite the car showroom garage I think it was a Hillman agency. The Honeycombe seems to ring a bell. jaffa1
I thought it was Wards brewery on Ecclesall road. I remember going in the Strada often, as I recall it was across the road from the Star picture house.
