HeadingNorth
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hypocrite Someone who barges into a thread moaning about childish insults, at the same time as making childish insults. She didn't make a childish insult. If someone's juvenile enough to think "bumface" is an appropriate way to refer to a politician, then it's a reasonable assumption that they are still at school and have classmates. rubydazzler
Forget that it’s shockingly bad journalism. it is rude, from first second to last.No-one's disagreeing with you about it. But why watch this rubbish in the first place and then try to force everyone else to sully their minds with it? If you must watch TV, watch a decent channel in future with halfway credible journalists/presenters.
lilypiglet
The hatchet-faced harridan's history of howlers: http://blogs.independent.co.uk/2010/10/07/kay-burley-rides-again/ The amazing story of Kay Burley’s on-air absurdities continues! Sorry, edited down the quote a wee bit!! Totally agree, if any everyday working Joe Public were so inept at there job I'm sure there would be repercussions.....and she does this for such an over-inflated wage as well.....ooooops, better go and take the chill pill I was prescribed.... Her job is to pull in viewers; if she's incompetent enough to be funny, people will tune in for a laugh, so viewing figures will be good - which makes her a success. So Sky are obviously happy to employ a 'cough' reporter who is rude, patronising and ill-informed.....I'm sure her interviewees are most happy about being talked to in such an unprofessional way, when most of these interviews are about poignant topics.....not exactly interviewing Mr So n So from Ilkley about his award winning sprouts....... Sky will be the news equivalent of You've Been Framed then.....we'll just watch it to see how funny or cringeworthy it is....Yes very successful, and the winner of news reporter of the year goes to...... spindrift
All rolling news is rubbish, they pad out the story and waffle on endlessly (often from outside a building where something may have happened hours earlier, for no apparent reason). Sky News is the worst of the bunch, a relentless agenda of bias and celebrity tittle tattle dog vomit.
