So what constitutes many? 9 out of 10 Tory supporters he knows the salery/wages of? 8 out of 10? Less?

mj. If you must quote, do it correctly.

I wasn't questioning the definition of "many", as is clear from my post. I was questioning the accuracy of your analysis. Anyone who looks back over the last few posts will be able to see why.

Now, how about sticking to facts.

Yes lets.

Somebody claims to know the saleries of many forummers of a particular political pursuassion.

It is a plainly ridiculous statement. Not least becuase this is an open form. I could say I earn £10k or £100k, nobody would know the truth. So lets not pretend that they know this stuff.

Not a Tory.... I'm not sure how you would class my political views within Britain's political spectrum but as somene who's more of a libertarian minarchist I would class myself nearer to the Conservative party that the Labour party.

This cartoon pretty much demonstrates everything that is wrong with socialism...

But you said everybody. No room for interpretaion there mj.

Wednesday might know the salaries of many on here. I do, because I know quite a few people in real life. I know others from their posts, so I've a reasonable estimate of their income.

It is a fair thing to say that many of the Tories on here are on relatively low incomes. I share Wednesday's confusion about the reasoins why.

I'm from a family of low paid, working class, Tory voters. I still don't get it.

Well it would be no good only knowing the saleries of only Tory supporting forummers, to make any comparison you'd have to know the saleries of the Labour and Lib Dem and BNP supporting forummers plus any others.

There might be many others you would not guess are Tories, after all how many forum members are there? How would you know what proportion are Tories/Labour/whatever?

It's pure crap and you know it is.

I'm happy to backtack on the all vs many thing you contest. Now may you please explain the rest?
