Nato's fuel tankers in Pakistan

Recommended Posts

You can probably conclude which side that they're on, by counting the number of their soldiers who have died fighting the Taliban.

You might conclude the opposite if you consider the support being given to the Taliban by Pakistan's ISI. And the closing of the border enabling attacks on NATO fuel supplies. And the fact that although we have a common enemy, they will not allow ISAF forces to pursue Taliban attackers when they flee to safe territory across the Pakistani frontier.

If you were a member of the Pakistani government, or Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani (who doesn't appear to be too popular with his people) would you be wondering whether ISI were on your side?

A number of reports suggest that they are on the side of the Taleban. Does the Pakistani government have a clear mandate to take them on?

Is that a polite way of saying you can't?

No, it's the direct way of saying I'm not playing your game.

I'll provide you the proof if you will acknowlkedge how ignorant and lazy it is to dispute something you know nothing about, without even bothering to google it yourself.

 Well said.... but it's the Sheffield Forum where the facts never get in the way of a good rant.
