Meaks
I don't find any pubs good for Sunday lunch / dinner because they are always full of people trying to find a good Sunday lunch / dinner and so can punt mediocre food that everyone thinks is fantastic when it is at best dried up crap. odd job
the elmtree inn in elmton near clowne imo is DIRE ! We went for a full sunday lunch about 2 months ago and wont be going again The pub looks lovely but the grub was poor. We had the sunday dinner with slow roasted beef , what we actually got was half cooked veg, and Cheap Stewing stake that looks like it had been cooked in a slow cooker and tasted liek a old boot sole We left most of it and it was still £9 or thereabouts per head.
