magsie
S O R T E D T H A N K S Comes on and flashes continually when driving out of drive and is on all the time, coolant is at correct level, oil ok. Temp gauge is normal. Clio service not due for 4 months. The warning light does not say stop the car. Could it be a faulty switch and if so, what should I do? Thanks. Forumosaurus
If the engine temperature is normal, I wouldn't worry about it. Leave it until your next service. Can't see it being anything other than a minor electrical fault.
magsie
Richy, thanks so much for replying. Will do just that then. Thank you!
mike84
Get it checked out. If there is a problem with the coolant level in anyway it could lead to a whole host of problems.
vwkittie
Yes definitely get it checked, better safe than sorry!
magsie
The coolant level is at maximum and has been since last service in January. But will just drop if off at my garage then. I think it's what Richy has said tho, a small electrical problem. Thanks for replying.
sccsux
The coolant level is at maximum and has been since last service in January. Which doesn't mean anything (could be a blockage in one of the water galleries).
Ghostrider
It could be that the thermostat is faulty and not opening...
magsie
Thanks everyone, car started making a strange noise. Took it to garage - faulty electronics. Thanks for all your replies.
