Is this another big blow for yorkshire

Recommended Posts

So one quango is being replaced by ?....another quango :D with a different name and covering a slight ly different area.

From the listed objectives....

Infrastructure and Transport

• unlock the potential of key centres, economic sites and development areas

• improve strategic links to international gateways, London and other city regions

• support the economy by improving connections and tackling unreliability and congestion

• develop a sustainable transport system that helps connect people to jobs and services

Not if the Train and Bus companies have anything to do with it.

No mention of how it will be funded.

They'll be needed more-so than ever when these ConDem muppets have done their work.

Hmmm... so the recession began on May 7th this year did it?

It suit's their ideology to get rid of any state funded bodies.

And replace them with another state funded body? Do keep up old chap!

What about attracting new businesses ....or do they think its not there job?

Would be a first if they did think that something wasn't their business.

Business belongs down south and not with Northern peasants, in the eyes of our current rulers

This may come as a shock to you but it is possible to do something without having to suckle on the government funding teat. Even set up a business.

I did it. Why don't you?
