80 hours community service & 12 months probation for torture

Firstly, we are not an "almost lawless" country. fairly obviously. That is exageration of the ...well of the Daily Mail kind.

Secondly, as i said before, physically it seems the injuries suffered were comparatively minor (compared to other cases you read about) - if they were serious you can bet the Daily Mail would have been shouting about the injuries far more than the mere mention they actually got.

Thirdly, at no point have i said they shouldn't be punished - in fact i have said they deserved jail.

And as i have said before, once you start with the "do-gooders" meaningless clichés, it suggests you are getting your ideas from some source other than your own brain. Never mind that if you think doing good is a bad thing, you must be something of a nutter yourself - do you go round doing evil?

Ive reported your post. Theres simply no need to be so rude.
