artisan
How about you wake up and actually live in the now rather than the past. This is the now, it is deja vu all over again, to try to make light of it. Groundhog Day. There is a saying about history, something about if you dont learn from the mistakes of the past, you are doomed to repeat them. Well the people of this country have done just that. They have allowed through the back door, the most useless bunch of neer do wells into power since that which cannot be named.

artisan
Don't you mean Edward II? No, he was the one of the red hot poker up the bum, and a disgrace to his father. Edward the First was 'The Hammer of the Scots', (and everyone else for that matter)

artisan
My mistake, I thought Edward II was "Longshanks" but you're quite right His name was deLongchamps, but it became corrupted Longshanks, as he was a tall man for the time. (who called me a pedantic ****?, I distinctly heard it there :hihi:)
artisan
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thereporters/gavinhewitt/2010/10/french_battle_of_wills.html This is beginning of the end it seems to me. The very ones that crippled us, the bankers, are now laying down the terms. The French are leading the way, and their own government is making laws against them. How can a government have the audacity to make laws that the people do not want? The one whose name cannot be spoken brought in the Poll Tax, that had to be removed because of popular desent. The French government is now saying it has to punish its own people to keep up the backsides of the Bankers. This cannot go on.
Swan_Vesta
I'm sick of the way that the people in this country just take it all the time. We should take a leaf out of the French folk's book and give them Hell ..... Looking forward to my opportunity.
