Melski Posted October 19, 2010 Author Share Posted October 19, 2010 The Ratcliffe 26 An important moment for the Climate Defence Movement On 12 April 2009, 114 climate activists were arrested pre-emptively in Nottingham on the assumption that they were planning to temporarily close Britain's second-largest coal-fired power station at Ratcliffe-on- Soar. Charges were brought against 26 of those including activists from Sheffield.
