Just a quick note to let you know that the 53 Group will be presenting their latest production, 'Wanted, One Body' by Charles Dyer at the Library Theatre from the 10 - 13 November 2010.

The play is a comedy thriller packed with all the elements you would expect from a classic murder farce, missing bodies, mistaken identities and trouble below stairs, kind of Agatha Christie meets Downton Abbey – with a little Laurel and Hardy thrown in.

The drama begins with the death of Mr Barraclough, master of the remote and mysterious Greenacres. The family and staff gather for the reading of the will only to discover that Mr Barraclough has disappeared and the householders are all under suspicion for his murder. As the suspects plot to make good their escape with what remains of the Barraclough loot, it falls to the lawyers sent to settle the estate to solve the mystery and identify the culprits.

As the plot thickens and the body count rises, our heroes are forced to use all the skills in their limited repertoire - Holmes and Watson they are not - to save the day and avoid being next on the murderer’s hit list.

So, will it be the undertaker in the cellar with the spade, the maid in the scullery with the frying pan, the cook in the kitchen with the rolling pin or the lady of the house with letter opener - only one way to find out!

Tickets are priced at £7.00 (£6.00 concessions) and can be ordered by calling: 0114 286 2740 or emailing info@53group.org.uk
