So who are the biggest losers from today’s spending announcement

Recommended Posts

Ok. It's now official.

Having read all the small print and analysed all the data, a number of Economists (sorry can't remember names, institutes etc) have declared that indeed it will be the poorest economic group in society, namely those on benefits and lowest wage, that will lose the most money and suffer the most thanks to the budget.

So much for 'Fairness' and 'We're all in this together'

How can you tell when a Politician's lying? - When his lips move...

It was the Institute of Fiscal Studies.... a group that before the election the Tories were calling the most important economic thinktank... and who after the election sent Clegg out to rebut their claims with the IFS's research was only partial because it did not include future undisclosed policies in their analysis. :hihi:

The super rich employ people, pay tax (lots and lots and lots of it) and don't claim benefits from hard-working families. They are net contributors to the economy. All benefit claimants are a drain on the economy. There is a massive difference.

They become super rich by underpaying their workers, overcharging their customers and squirrelling profits away. That is why we tax them so highly, because they are a parasite on society.

I don't know where to start with this. What a complete load of rubbish. Every word.

The Unions - now there's an example of parasites

Unlike the relationship wage slaves have with an employer the relationship a union member has with their union is symbiotic and consensual.

The relationship between and employee and employer is symbiotic and consensual. And a lot more productive for everyone.

Do you really believe that the 'undeserving poor' are the root of all our problems when spending on them is a tiny fraction of the amount of money avoided in tax by super rich business men squirrelling away massive profits for themselves at the expense of their workers and of society?
Errr!..............think you will find your example the wrong way round, by billions!

Total benefits paid to working age people £43 billion pounds, money paid to people with health conditions, in work benefits, those who can't find work. Those who won't work, will be a small fraction of that.

The Inland Revenue's own underestimation of the Tax gap £40billion...

Therefore.... you think wrong.

your all missing the point welfare cuts wont make any differance to most my benefits have gone up £25 a week since mr c got in, its a rip off for the work force, mr c is doing what hes doing to make the minority of workers in this country feel there getting a good deal, lets all stick together, stop rise in petrol prices, stop retirement age going up,keep the price of living down, make the minimum wage £10 an hour, cus thats what it costs to live, stop people from abroad coming to live here we are all plebs in this country we just lay down on our back with our feet up in the air waiting for a pat on the back like a dog
