So who are the biggest losers from today’s spending announcement

Recommended Posts

I didn't say we shouldn't have bailed them out.

What I an saying is that after bailing them out, it shouldn't be us picking up the pieces of the mess they caused. Even Boris Johnson is appalled they are likely to be paying out £7billion in bonuses, whilst we suffer the consequences.

Neither should we be picking up the mess of failed relationships where kids are left behind to suffer the consequences.Labour has encouraged single parent families at a huge cost to all of us.Kids need two parents so at least one can work to support the family instead of a single parent relying on the state for a living! The moral irresponsibility and selfishness encouraged over the last decade to breed indiscriminately knowing the state will pick up the tab for your actions is disgraceful !

The Government keeps going on about us all being in this together

Nope, you're the one that keeps going on about it, mainly because it deflects attention from the tsunami of red ink that is currently swamping the country.

Definition of the straw man argument:

To "attack a straw man" is to create the illusion of having refuted a proposition by substituting a superficially similar yet unequivalent proposition (the "straw man"), and refuting it, without ever having actually refuted the original position.

When will you start talking about the real issues behind the spending review, the fact that the UK has to borrow £155 billion annually just to pay its bills (the deficit), never mind addressing the ever increasing national debt.

We are hearing nothing new or of substance from the Labour benches! only that whatever the Coalition has suggested, they would do it slower......................of course you would!

Real issue of the day is the country was worth 3 Trillion when Labour came to power, it is now worth between 7 and 9 Trillion, so let's use some of the money made by a few of the people who have profited the most, in order to get the debt down.

Difficult that it might seem to you, but some of us find it quite nauseating that this shower of a Government would rather take money from those who need it most, instead of those that can spare quite a lot.

I think you'll find that they would go for a 50/50 split between Tax and custs as opposed to the 80/20 ratio.

Not enough for me but better than this shower.
