British Muslims biggest funders to the Taliban

Recommended Posts

This has been done to death already, but why do other muslims have to stand up against something they have nothing to do with?

(Ignoring the fact that they do, but for some reason it doesn't get much publicity)

Good question. Maybe to make us all feel comfortable with them in this Country and for integration sake or would that be asking too much of them?

If they did what you say they do in the first place then I would be as informed as you seem to be that you say with no relevant evidence to quote to me

I wasnt saying thats whay i thought. I was preempting the usual 'Sky news is full of <expletive> because they say something negative about 'british' muslims' angle.

No, I'd say sky news is full of the proverbial because, basically, it's full of the proverbial, not just because it's talking bubbles in this particular case.

Where and when?

This page focuses on condemnations of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and other terrorist incidents since then as well as of terrorism in general. It is not a complete listing of all condemnations written or spoken by Muslims but is intended to provide a representative sample.

It has often been claimed in the media that Muslims are "silent" and do not condemn terrorism. This page is intended to refute that claim. Muslims have not been silent. Not even close.

Didn't look hard, did you?

Why on earth don't moderate British Muslims just stand up with a voice and be counted against this constant threat from their kinfolk many miles away that do nothing to look after them like we do?

They do, regularly, but the media generally don't take a blind bit of notice;

Why is it? As it usually runs the same stories as BBC News 24, does that station make news stories up when it concerns Muslims in a bad light as well?

There are subtle differences between SN and the BBC's coverage, Paul...

SN is to 24 hour news broadcasting what The Daily Star is to decent newspaper reportage. (look at the utter fiasco a couple of weeks ago, where the poorly prepared journalist interviewed the ninety-odd year old chap at the Tory conference. that's about the standard I'd expect from SN)

And as for whether it's poor reportage about Muslims or not, that's not the issue. Poor reportage is poor reportage whatever corner it's coming from.
