Heil Cllr Gardner of Harrogate..wearing Nazi fancy dress

Recommended Posts

Incidentally, should Mel Brooks be ok to wear the Hitler costume at his grandchildren's Bar Mitzvah?

Only if it's fancy dress. Otherwise people might assume he just forgot to get changed.

He should have realised the likely consequences of his choice of costume. He's supposed to show some sort of judgement. As a political leader, that is pretty important. The moment that the photos went on Facebook, they became public.

The point I was making is that a Hitler costume is not a special case - it's just a costume. And as people have pointed out, not a very good one.

Unimaginative? Sure. Offensive? Not in the slightest.

So far I don't think anyone has been offended? So if that's the case, is it poor judgement?

And if they have been offended, does it actually matter? Or are we back to no more cartoons of the prophet etc.

So just because he's in power he should cease his sense of humour? Maybe he should just go to work and come straight home and read a non-threatening book or watch bland TV and go straight to bed?

How probably?

Can you quantify that? Can you back up your assertion?

If not, why did you post it?

..but you don't know who the average are..probably.

Uncorrectamundo tight a git.
To all 3 of you, they are probably representative of the average because most are. As for proving that assertion - what a ridiculous demand. Can any of you prove that they were not typical local Muslims? You cannot, so you can hardly claim or demand otherwise.

And Stan Tamudo, I bow to your creativity and mature wit.

Not necessarily, although it would have been a good idea on that night.

He might want to spend some time with the Facebook Privacy Guidance though.
