Bassman62
I used to throw money in charity tins here there and everywhere. But since the government increased overseas aid,i don't bother now.I don't get a say in as to which charities the government donates my taxes to.Especially when the overseas developement agency spend it on plush offices, bonuses and whatever else. If this topic make more people wake up to farce and waste of foreign aid then it will have been well worth it. PS. And those shaking the tins get 30% of what you donate. truman
Bit of a sham isn't it really. Yes,I agree it's wrong that people who have saved for their retirement appear to be no better off than those that have P----d it all up the wall.I'm in the same position as you,or will be when I retire...I'm starting to think that saving was a waste of my money..I may as well have spent it when I could enjoy it more...
