Didn't the Live Aid lot spit the dummy out once because all the millions disappeared into corrupt pockets ? In the end it's a moral choice. What kind of people do we want to be? Do we, as a rich country, want to spend a tiny proportion of our wealth on saving and improving lives in poor countries? If the average family has 2.4 children, that's around £2,250 per person. He's actually not that far out. This is the dumbest bit of maths I've ever seen..... Our bankers dont? They can **** away billions and get bailed out. They may lose their house and livelihood but no one starves to death as a result over here.
