Gutter/downpipe cleaning, repair/replacement MEGATHREAD no jobs/quotes

Recommended Posts

You can get PVC ones that look like the timber ones, my mate had them fitted and they look good and won't rot in
They warp and twist in sunlight though, and bleach really quickly too... oh, and tend to drop off completely in the snow

If the house started off with timber guttering, timber is best to replace it (and it should last another hundred years - no plastic guttering has ever done that length of time :P )

Ive noticed a leak coming into my front bedroom. I assume gutter might need replacing or cleaning. Not too sure on the back gutter though but would like someone to have a look at the front and back and give me a quote.

The house is a mid terrace house and wondering if i can have plastic gutter instead of timber bearing in mind both neighbours have timber gutters and is it safe to do so as i'm stuck in the middle.
