angiepan
the laws on bikes have changed i suggest you have a look on the dvla website,if you take your test now you can ride any bike with a restrictor kit in it,but new law states you still have to take a test when you are 21 and would still be restricted for a further 2 years unless you took that test on a bigger cc bike then you could ride any bike straight away, hope this clears things up for you ! Not quite true - details here on the government site. @david-sufc If you get your full licence now and can get a bike up to 25 kW, don't get a big heavy bike and restrict it - performace will suffer, particularly if the bike is designed to have more power. You'll be better off getting something lighter.
