Recommended Posts

i use Lestoil for oil/grease etc works well, scrub scrub and scrub some more.use full strength, with coarse scub brush use cold water to rinse

Where do you get 'Lestoil' from please? Have a good few suggestions from others but if they fail I'll have a look for it.

Good evening all!

Can anyone offer any advice or tips on how to remove cooking oil from carpets? I've got a stain the size of a 2p but it's really noticeable.

I've put washing liquid on it - no joy, i've tried carpet cleaning spray -no joy.

Any ideas welcomed!

Thank you in advance!

I always find trying to eat the stain helps. Saliva seems to break anything down after chewing for 10 min until the taste's gone. ;)

Hi, when ever i have had greese or oil stains on my clothes i have always put a little lighter petrol on the stain then let it dry out and the stain has gone, i do not know if it will do the trick on your carpet, please do not do this near naked flames. good luck
