Spent a few years working in Peterborough/Cambridge and there was a forum run by the local paper. Certain members used to hi-jack it and always bring the thread back to right versus left no matter what the thread started as. I posted a few times and asked the mods to rule these people out of order. There was no change so I gave up. At least with SF the mods do try and keep us in line and most threads seem to stimulate debate. As ever it is the noisy minority being seen/heard by the silent majority. Good place to be though.
