sharrowman
Or perhaps, Who are these animals, prepared, in the name of their outdated beliefs, to stand idly by during acts of vicious torture and watch the murder of innocent civilians? Is it wrong to be amused by this duplicity?
Lotusflower
Everyone of the reported 391,832 US Army Significant Actions was clearly undertaken by yet another hero of the war effort in Iraq. Here's to our brave boys. How did we rescue the Iraqis from torture and summary execution?

Lotusflower
"How did we rescue the Iraqis from torture and summary execution?" Through the cleansing power of torture and summary execution! Something Saddam was rather adept at. Why did he have to removed?
sharrowman
'Why did he have to be removed' - the civil engineering contracts alone justified this action. New meat for a tired economy.
sharrowman
I imagine that this story will be dead within weeks and those that authorised these actions will go without punishment in their obscurity. Our leaders will make noises about security, maybe an impotent inquiry, the nothing. Perhaps a few squaddies will be scapegoated. Otherwise it will be business as usual in the war economy. I can't argue with any of that. Our leaders will certainly continue making noises! This we know. It won't be long before the front pages are filled with Celebrity Come Dancing or some c-list has beens in the jungle or...god forbid...Big Brother or the Queen Vic burning down...et al! harvey19
Well, the publishers would never have signed the OSA, not being English.... Well their countrys equivalent. I find it a bit suspicious.
