Childminding advice

Recommended Posts

I am thinking of taking up Child Minding. However, I already have a part time job which I would like to continue with. Does anyone know if it is possible to childmind on a part-time basis?

Also, what is the going rate for a 'Newbie' chldminder.

Any advice welcome.

Thanks all

Ali

Hi

Yes you can work as a part time childminder - I used to.

The "going rate" tends to depend on where you live (& there can be variations within the same area). Best advice is to ask some local childminders. Most childminders don't mind you asking. What area do you live in? There are childminder groups around who could help with your query.
