Guderian
My friend once took a girl on a date. When I asked him how he had got on, his text reply sent a chill down me. He meant to say "I really fancied her" but didnt check it before he sent it. Try it on a Nokia (or perhaps any make of phone) to see what I received. BoroughGal
I use the word "woohoo" a lot in texts (I'm obviously just TOO excitable!) - and it always spells out Zonino..... It got to the point where I liked that word better, my friends knew what it meant, and all started using it instead of woohoo! Zonino!
stars_gazing
lol - was going to start a similar thread & hit the search button I just got a text saying "meet you outside the b*tch then" I assume my friend would really rather we meet outside the Church. AtticusFinch
It's not particularly embarrassing, but I once told a friend that I was "retiring" instead of "revising".

scoop
We recently got a pup. I thought I had texted my 17 year old male cousin "do you want to come round to see my puppy" I hadn't. My auntie was not impressed.
